The Mecca of Korea - Snow Mountain
Walking in the mountains of Keorea is surely a religious experience. The Korean peoples philosophy of martial arts stems from and rolls into their everyday lives.
Whilst walking in the mountains of Korea it became a regular occurance for complete strangers to offer a piece of their picnic as a gesture of friendship. I was told by my guide that this is not because I was a foreigner but was part of their everyday to give to a complete stranger and think nothing of it. Added to this the incredibly uplifting and ancient scenery gives rise to an incredibly spiritual and momorable expreience. We recommend this to any one visiting Korea either for a martial arts tour or purely a cultural experience.
