Approaching the second knock out of the day
High quality Tae Kwon Do university players from across the country flocked to Bristol at the weekend for the annual Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwan Do University Championships
Starting with a weigh in at 9.30 am the players queued up eager to take part in the competitions. By 11.30 the poomse judging had commenced with some exceptional perfomances by Bristol University. However for me the highlight of the day has got to be the high level sparring with quick moves and hard hitting point scoring. With Master Lawrence keeping order within the ranks, overseeing the referees and corner judges overall performance the competition rolled on without a hitch. Three knockouts entertained the crowds with the first aiders on hand to take care of all the injuries - and there were plenty of wounded warriers. (Photos)
